Tottenham’s Harry Kane Says Clash With Chelsea Is ‘the big one’

Jose Mourinho faces his old team this Sunday. With Jose’s record, there’s a need to be more specific. Tottenham welcomes Chelsea. Tottenham has only been beaten once since Jose took over. The loss came in the hands of Bayern Munich at the Champions League. In the Premier League, Jose and Spurs have lost to manchester united only, who are yet to lose to any top-six team. Ahead of this London derby, Harry Kane, Tottenham’s frontman has labeled the game ‘the big one.’

England forward further stated:

“If we can win that and push into the top four, then we have fixtures over the Christmas period that we feel like we can definitely win. But I don’t want to say anything now and lose at the weekend!”

Tottenham is currently just three-point below Chelsea. And it is not just about beating Chelsea and getting the three points but it also means that they would climb to a top-four position. This win would be great for the team going into Christmas and would be a major boost in their prospect of finishing in the top four.

Kane further noted about recent events and the good fell factor;

“We knew how much it meant at Wolves, with Chelsea losing on Saturday it meant even more.

“At the moment we’re in a good spot — just one loss in five in the Premier League — but we’ve got to try to win next week and push into the top four and go on from there.”

Kane has also talked about Jose’s coaching style and how this has helped the team since his arrival:

You know I got on very well with Poch and I respect him very, very, very much.

“But Mourinho’s got his own style, his own way of doing things. For me, it’s about learning that way.”

Who Takes The Three Points, Chelsea Or Tottenham?

Going into this game is is nearly impossible to predict who will take away the three points. Although it is a game where the teacher meets the student in that Jose, Tottenham coached Lampard, Chelsea, it is not a clear cut game. The two coaches have revived the two teams and posted better results than anyone ever imagined.

Many have however tipped Jose with Tottenham to win because of his personal experience coaching, his team is far more experienced than of Chelsea and the fact that Tottenham is at home. This means they come into this game with an edge. But with three points on the balance and a game that could determine who finishes at the top four at the end of the season, you can’t write off any of the two teams.
